§ 18-4B. Seasonal vendor's permit.

(a)

Seasonal vendor's permits may be issued for Lake Waxahachie. The permit shall be issued only for rental of property for water recreational use at Lake Waxahachie. This shall consist of rentals such as canoes and kayaks, fishing equipment, life preservers, and water recreational equipment. It will not include gasoline sales, or food sales.

(b)

Any vendor structures must be portable, non-permanent structures or a sales truck, located only as shown on the permit, and must be approved by the city staff.

(c)

The business can be operated only between sun-up and 10:00 p.m.

(d)

No radio or other noise-making equipment may be used.

(e)

The business is only allowed to be open for business between May 16 and September 30 of each year.

(f)

The permit may be cancelled by the City of Waxahachie if the business and surrounding area is not kept clean and neat in appearance, and in compliance with all city, state or other governmental regulations.

(g)

The permit fee is twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per year.
