§ 18-97. Application of state law.

  • (a)

    The general laws of the state as the same may be lawfully supplemented by this chapter or ordinances and regulations of the city, are hereby adopted as to the size and daily and seasonal limits of fish, and as to the season and daily periods for fishing, in, on or around the waters of Lake Waxahachie, the islands therein or the lands adjacent thereto owned by, leased by or under easement to the district or the city.

    (b)

    Fishing upon the waters of Lake Waxahachie, or upon islands therein, or upon marginal lands thereof, or in or on blinds or other devices constructed thereon, or upon any lands owned by, leased by or under easement to the district or the city, in any manner or at any time which may be prohibited either by the laws of the state or the United States of America, or by the provisions of this Code or ordinances of the city, whichever may be controlling at the particular time, is hereby prohibited.
