§ 26-54. Vehicle storage facilities.

(a)

A tow truck owner performing a request or next-up tow who tows a vehicle to a vehicle storage facility shall tow the vehicle to a state-licensed vehicle storage facility previously approved by the police department unless directed otherwise by the vehicle owner or a city official.

(b)

All yards and storage areas used to store vehicles towed pursuant to this article shall be fenced and maintained in accordance with all applicable state laws and chapter 17 of this Code.
