Subject to the like provision being made by the City Council of the City of Midlothian,
Texas, and the Commissioners Court of Ellis County, Texas, by proper ordinance and
order, duly promulgated and entered on their minutes, and as authorized by the provisions
of the Airport Zoning Act, Texas Local Government Code Annotated, § 241.013 (Vernon
1988), there is hereby created a joint airport zoning board, to be known as the Midlothian-Waxahachie-Ellis
County Joint Airport Zoning Board, which shall have the powers and exercise the duties
set forth in Texas Local Government Code Annotated, §§ 241.002, 241.011, 241.012 and
241.014 (Vernon 1988).
