§ 30-19. Board of equalization.

  • (a)

    Appointment and qualifications. The board of equalization shall consist of not less than three (3) nor more than five (5) members as shall be determined by the city council. Each member of the board of equalization shall be a qualified voter, a resident and a real property owner of the city.

    (b)

    Term. Each member of the board of equalization shall be appointed by the city council for a term of one (1) year and until their successors have been duly appointed and duly qualified. Appointments to fulfill any vacancy on the board of equalization shall be for the remainder of the unexpired term only.
