§ 33-93. Oversize lines.

  • (a)

    Water and sewer lines twelve (12) inches in diameter and smaller are considered standard size. All water and sewer lines larger than twelve (12) inches in diameter shall be considered oversize. The city will reimburse the developer for installing an oversize line when the developer has been instructed by the city to install a line larger than the standard size and funds are available. This oversized participation shall include valves, fittings, manholes and other appurtenances and shall include the cost of such oversize appurtenances.

    (b)

    The added cost of increasing the size of line shall be determined by the city engineer by comparing actual contract costs, or costs included in contracts for similar projects.
