§ 18-3. Business permits.

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate boats or docks, or any operation related in any manner to such operation, for the purpose of deriving revenue, direct or indirect, from the same, without first having obtained a permit for such purpose from the city. The city will not issue such permits until such time as it has approved and signed a written contract specifying the terms, manner in which, and the location at which, the same will be operated or located. Each boat, operated as part of a commercial venture, shall be licensed by the city; shall be subject to periodic inspection; and shall be governed by all rules and regulations pertaining generally to the operation of boats, rafts and devices on Lake Waxahachie.
