§ 9-1. Perpetual care fund—Created.

There is hereby established a special account in the city cemetery department entitled "Waxahachie City Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund," for the purpose of permitting individuals owning lots in the city cemetery to deposit the required amount of funds in such fund so that the same may be invested and the proceeds derived therefrom used for the care and maintenance of the particular family lot set up by the depositor.
