§ 2-92. Program established; administration; report.

(a)

The city [shall] provide the sum of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) per year, until changed by the city council, to the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce for use in promoting local economic development and to stimulate business and commercial activity in Waxahachie, under the provisions of Section 380.001 of the Texas Local Government Code, said funds to be used solely for said purposes in accordance with the provisions of said section of the Local Government Code.

(b)

The Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce shall file an annual report with the city manager reporting on how said funds were spent.
